The Blackland Group is a group of investment companies that invests in multi-family and other residential properties in emerging markets. Since its founding in 2006, The Blackland Group and its managing partners have invested in more than 1000 residential and multi-family units in Georgia, Texas and Louisiana.

The Blackland Group invests in two types of real estate:

The first type of investment is a portfolio of single purpose investment funds with each fund holding title in a small to mid-size multi-family property. The main objective for these investments is capital appreciation, ongoing cashflow, and inflation protection. Investment cycles in these funds last at least 1 year and may span up to 5 years, with a typical duration of 2-3 years.

The second type of investment is in single-family houses and condominiums. These investments are made on an opportunistic basis, relying on the managing partners' extensive expertise in sourcing, purchasing, renovating and selling residential properties. The objective for these short-term investments is a swift and aggressive return while mitigating associated risks. Investment cycles typically span a few weeks to a few months.
